Prithibhaya-Vedantsara Foundation, in collaboration with the Women Empowerment Cell of GGM Science College, Jammu, successfully organized a thought-provoking Symposium on the Role of Social Media in Women Empowerment. The event aimed to ignite critical conversations on how digital platforms can be harnessed as tools for awareness, voice, and change.

Key Highlights:

• 🧕 70 students participated as audience members, actively engaging in Q&A sessions and discussions.
  
  

• 🎓 20 participants received Certificates of Participation for their contributions and presentations.

📌 2. Sanitary Pad Donation Drive – Slum Area Outreach

On the occasion of Menstrual Hygiene Day, the Prithibhaya-Vedantsara Foundation organized a Sanitary Pad Donation Drive in the underprivileged locality of Maratha Mohalla, Trikuta Nagar. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the NSS Units of GGM Science College, with the objective of promoting menstrual awareness and access to hygiene among women and adolescent girls in the slum area.

Key Highlights:

• 💊 Distribution of sanitary napkin kits to girls and women lacking access to basic menstrual hygiene products.
  
  

• 🗣️ Awareness sessions on safe menstrual practices, taboo-breaking dialogue, and healthcare access.
  
  

• 👩‍🎓 NSS volunteers played a vital role in ground mobilization and coordination. The initiative emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to women's health, dignity, and empowerment, especially in marginal and underserved communities.
